At Utah Whitewater Gear, we strive to provide fair, transparent, and affordable shipping rates while ensuring your gear arrives safely and quickly.

Free Shipping

We offer Free Standard Shipping on eligible orders over $149 shipped within the contiguous United States.

Free shipping applies only to qualifying products and excludes oversized, freight, and specialty shipping items.

Standard Shipping

For orders under $149 shipped within the contiguous United States:

  • Standard Shipping: $9.95
  • UPS Ground: $19.95

Most in-stock orders ship within one business day. Holidays and/or extenuating circumstances (staffing and product) may effect how fast we get orders out.

Oversized & Specialty Item Shipping

Due to size, weight, packaging requirements, or carrier surcharges, certain products are subject to additional shipping charges and are excluded from free shipping promotions.

$25 Oversized Item Shipping

Shipping: $25 per item

Examples include:

  • Raft paddles
  • Oars
  • Smaller Coolers
  • Selected oversized accessories

$50 Oversized Item Shipping

Shipping: $50 per item

Examples include:

  • Long paddles (Kayak, SUP, IK, and Guide paddles)
  • Mid-sized Coolers
  • Dry boxes
  • Selected oversized accessories

$75 Oversized Item Shipping

Shipping: $75 per item

Examples include:

  • Frame packages
  • Large frame components
  • Large Coolers
  • Selected extra-large accessories

Freight Shipping Required

Products requiring freight shipping include, but are not limited to:

  • Kayaks
  • Rafts
  • Catarafts
  • SquareTop oars
  • Other exceptionally large items
  • Raft Packages

Freight costs vary based on product size, destination, and carrier availability. A member of our team may contact you with available shipping options and any applicable freight charges before shipment.

Alaska Shipping

Shipping to Alaska starts at $24.99.

Most small items ship via USPS.

Oversized products including kayaks, rafts, paddles, oars, frame packages, coolers, and other large items may require additional freight charges.

If additional shipping charges apply, our team will contact you before processing the shipment.

Canada & International Shipping

Shipping to Canada starts at $30.00.

Final shipping costs are determined after the order is placed and may vary based on package size, weight, destination, and carrier availability.

Additional shipping charges may apply for oversized products.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Duties
  • Taxes
  • Brokerage fees
  • Import fees

If a shipment is refused, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs and any fees incurred by the carrier.

Order Processing

Orders placed before 2:00 PM Mountain Time, Monday through Friday, typically ship the same business day.

Orders placed after the daily cutoff, on weekends, or on holidays will be processed the next business day.

Local Pickup

Free local pickup is available at our Midvale, Utah retail location.

Customers will receive an email notification when their order is ready for pickup.

Shipping Address Errors

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Additional shipping charges may apply for address corrections, rerouting requests, returned shipments, or remote delivery locations.

UWG Rewards

Utah Whitewater Gear Rewards members earn points on eligible purchases through our loyalty program. Rewards points can be redeemed on future purchases and are subject to the terms of the UWG Rewards Program.

Free shipping eligibility is based on the final order subtotal after discounts are applied and before taxes.
