Repair Service

Utah Whitewater Service Department

Utah Whitewater Gear provides high-quality repair services for inflatable boat equipment. Over the past ten years, we have been doing quality work and offering common-sense advice on how to proceed with damaged, worn, and faulty inflatable craft.

We are a certified service center for AIRE/Outcast, NRS, Hyside, Achilles, and Kokatat (gasket repair only). However, we repair all makes/models of inflatable racfts. We can weld both PVC and Urethane.

Dry Suit Repair

  • Neck gasket replacement: $95 plus tax
  • Wrist gasket replacement: $55 plus tax
  • Ankle and latex foot replacement: $65 plus tax

We currently do NOT offer any fabric repair or leak testing on drysuits.

Raft and Inflatable Repair

We do NOT do estimates over the phone due to the nature of the different fabrics and materials. Pictures can give us a better idea of your needs, but we rely solely on in-person evaluations for cost estimates.

All of our repairs are guaranteed for one year.

Repair Pricing

  • Inspection Fee: $25-$100 (applied to final repair cost)
  • Repair Labor: $125/hour + cost of materials
  • Boat Cleaning: $75 (if the boat is excessively dirty)
  • Storage Fee: $10/day (if left unclaimed for over 7 days past repair completion)

  1. ALL CRAFTS BROUGHT IN FOR REPAIRS NEED TO BE CLEAN, DRY, AND ROLLED UP PROPERLY.
  2. Please remove all straps and accessories before drop-off. Utah Whitewater Gear is not responsible for lost or damaged items left on the boat.
  3. Unfortunately, we do not have space to store your trailer or other rafting equipment, only bring in the items requiring repair.
  4. Repair times vary depending on shop workload. We cannot guarantee our estimated timeframe.

The nature of the service department is broken, worn, and aging rafts. We reserve the right to NOT work on items that we deem un-repairable, un-safe, or otherwise a liability to us. These repairs are not as straightforward and require some deliberation to decide whether it is worth actually repairing. Due to the age, it may be cost-effective and safer to look at buying another raft.
