So you want to rent a packraft with a cargo fly system? Awesome! They are crazy awesome boats, and you’re going to love trying them out. But they are more complicated and more fragile than what meets the eye, so please take your time to read the information below before booking your Alpacka Gnarwhal, Alpacka Mage, or Alpacka Valkyrie rental.
WHAT IS A CARGO FLY?
Alpacka's innovative Cargo Fly internal storage system comes with some of our Gnarwhal, Mage, and Valkyrie packraft rentals. The Cargo Fly features an airtight zipper installed in the stern of the boat to allow you to store your gear inside the tubes. The system provides drier and more secure gear storage and improved paddling performance due to a lower center of gravity.

By renting an Alpacka packraft with a cargo fly system, you are acknowledging that you are familiar with the proper use of the equipment. You understand that improper use may result in injury, damage, or loss. You accept full responsibility for the care of the equipment during the rental period and agree to return it in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear. You will be financially responsible for any loss, theft or damage beyond normal use and agree to pay the full repair or replacement cost as determined by UWG.
