This is a modular system; it can be used on either side of the boat and installs in minutes with the use of set-screws. The 'First Rod Holder' connects directly to the side rail of your frame. Make sure to check your frame pipe size either LD (1.25in ID) or XD (1.5in ID). The 'Second Rod Holder' connects a second rod holder to your first rod holder tube. The Down River Fishing Rod Holder is designed for 9ft or 10ft rods, be sure to order the correct size for your rods or call for advice. We build our rod holders with the same 1.5in ID aluminum used in our frames to give the best combination of weight and strength.
