The Tango is ideal for paddling flatwater rivers and lakes and protected coastal zones. The extra speed is ideal for covering longer distances, unfortunate headwinds, or getting off the water earlier for more camp time.
The Tango is a great option for older kids and teenagers who can paddle. Its a great way to keep up with other adults paddling their own boats. Its kayak-style design lets both paddlers contribute, ensuring a smooth and efficient ride.
The Tango has enough space to allow two adults to comfortably paddle kayak style with full length strokes. There is not enough space to add a third passenger like a child or a dog and still paddle comfortably. The Forager offers more versatility for multiple passengers.
How Does it Compare?
All three are models meant for two-person paddling. The Tango is paddled kayak style and is the fastest of the three, making it ideal for two adults on flatwater wanting to make miles. The Rendezvous is paddled canoe style and is built for more of a leisure experience, fishing, or scenery viewing on flatwater. The Forager is paddled R2 style or solo with a kayak paddle and offers the most versatility of the three for families, hunting, lightwater, and whitewater. Two adults will find the Forager less comfortable for long days than the Rendezvous or Tango, but more capable in a wider range of river conditions.

*Due to the handmade nature of our packrafts and natural variances in weights between different colors and production runs in our fabrics, all weights and dimensions are averages and will vary from boat to boat.
**Packed size is a reference measurement based on folding each lengthwise edge of the boat to the center and rolling from the bow. There are many other methods of rolling and folding the boats that will result in a different packed size that may be more or less efficient for packing depending on the situation.
